FED: Australians must stop living in fear, says Rev Tim Costello

Reverend TIM COSTELLO says Australians may face the risk of terrorist attacks but shouldnot live their lives in fear.

Reverend COSTELLO's comments came as Turkish authorities warned of terrorist threatsagainst Australian officials visiting the country for Anzac Day commemorations.

His brother, Treasurer PETER COSTELLO, is in Turkey for Friday's Anzac Day service at Gallipoli.

Reverend COSTELLO's conceded he's worried about his brother after a warning 35 specially-trainedterrorists had crossed the border from northern Iraq into Turkey.

But he says Australians can't let fear rule their lives either overseas or at home.

Reverend COSTELLO says both sides of politics have been exploiting Australians' fear,in particular fear of asylum seekers and of terrorists.
