Arsenal _ and France _ looking for better defense

Arsenal and France defender Bakary Sagna admits both teams have a problem defending against corners and free kicks.

Arsenal's defense conceded recent goals from corners in a 1-0 loss to Fulham and against Hull in a 2-1 home defeat _ where journeyman striker Daniel Cousin rose easily above Arsenal captain William Gallas to head past a static defense.

"It's up to us to sort that out," Sagna told The Associated Press in an interview. "We learned a lot last year, and we still have a lot to learn."

With no league games scheduled, Sagna plays with France against Romania in a 2010 World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
