NSW: Iemma reveals campaign for state election in March

The NSW water crisis .. and climate change .. are being prioritised as of major concern
to the Labor Party as it heads into an election year.

Premier MORRIS IEMMA says the government has a plan and will consider any real sensible
proposal .. but desalination is a back-up option.

Mr IEMMA'S told News Limited newspapers the government has developed a comprehensive
nine-point plan on winning the March election.

He says it will be the first election campaign in which climate change will be an issue
.. because the impact is on us now.

The premier says scientists have said not to rely on rain .. but the government will
have a strategy to take to the electorate on water.
