Fed: Michael Johns survives American Idol eviction again

The US public has given a thumbs up to Aussie singer MICHAEL JOHNS' take on a DOLLY
PARTON classic .. voting him through to the next round of American Idol.

His rendition of It's All Wrong But It's All Right had been hailed his best performance
to date by the judges .. and by PARTON.

The 29-year-old from Perth has now made it through to the top eight .. with US bookmakers
placing him as third favourite to win the show.

American Idol is the highest rating show in the US .. with more than 30 million viewers
each episode.

It screens in Australia on pay TV channel Fox8.
