and Leadership

CUPERTINO, Calif., April 5 /PRNewswire/ --

Jamcracker, Inc., a leading provider of integrated Web-based services, today announced it has been selected among ASPnews' Top 20 for 2001. The list, which also recognizes Jamcracker service provider partners OpenAir.com, Portera Systems, Surebridge and Upshot.com, was unveiled by ASPnews.com founder and consulting analyst Phil Wainewright, during the opening day of the ASP Summit at COMDEX Chicago 2001.

The list was compiled using five key criteria, including: a core business of ASP or Web services; size of active customer base; evidence of demonstrable, proven revenue streams; innovation within the ASP and/or Web services models; and recognition as a leader by others within the industry.

"After a detailed analysis of the industry, these 20 companies emerged as the strongest, most dynamic and successful players in the ASP and Web services market," said Wainewright. "Jamcracker has demonstrated a clear leadership position in the industry with proven revenue streams, a strong and expanding customer base and an innovative approach to the Web services model."

"We are pleased to have been recognized by ASPnews and congratulate our partners that were also recognized," said Todd Johnson, vice president of worldwide marketing for Jamcracker.
